Job Description

We are searching for a Marketing Manager Assistant to support & assist the Marketing Manager in growing two brands while managing compartmentalized and shared resources. The key role is to provide support and spearhead minor marketing efforts by assisting the Marketing Manager in different areas like campaigns, social media, email marketing, workshops, partnerships, and community management. Admin work, internal reporting, and back-end progress tracking is also a responsibility of this role.

What problem will you be solving?
Due to limited manpower, a point person for low-hanging tasks is vital so efforts inside the marketing department are focused more on external growth which is spearheaded by the Marketing Manager. This is why during the marketing meeting, Steve approved of this role so the company’s marketing efforts are directed towards achieving immediate and long-term business goals.

Key responsibilities:
– Strategy & Support. Assist the Marketing Manager in day-to-day marketing operations. Help identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation. Support the marketing department’s initiatives in planning, executing, and tracking of marketing campaigns through email, events, platforms, or content.
– Engagement. Helps or assists in monitoring the execution of all social media activities with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and Facebook (i.e. sharing, engaging, liking, increasing social reach, commenting, messaging, posting, doing the heavy lifting, etc) and handle social media resources to make it more accessible.
– Campaigns. Work with the Marketing Manager to align the social media campaigns with our Marketing goals. 
– Social Media, Partnership & Influencer Outreach. Work with the Marketing Manager to screen & manage key social media content creators. We will have one social media content creator per social media channel. 
– Internal Announcements. Announce key events, partnerships, and other social media information to relevant SSD departments. Generate reports and other necessary documents needed by the Marketing Manager for certain marketing efforts.
– Brand Voice. Ensure that all external social media content, across all social media platforms, is expressed in a professional, but unique social media “voice” directly aligned with the thought leadership and content platform.
– Brand Design. Review and optimize all social media platforms to match our brand design.
– Partner Affiliates. Work with the marketing manager  to promote and optimize our partner affiliate program.
– Roadmap & Ops Creation. Creates or assists in writing plans for new marketing initiatives, including budget allocation, message development, creative direction, target audiences, timelines, and/or other related issues. Translates meetings into actionable tasks and checks the progress on ClickUp.

– Canva
– Google Workspace (Docs, Excel, Slides)

– Semrush
– Google Analytics

Skillset:
– Email Marketing & Automations
– Average experience in metrics & revenue marketing reports
– Social Media Roadmap Creation & Management
– SMS Email Automation is a plus
– Progress & Performance Tracking
– Has the ability to think strategically and convert data into reports
– Highly creative and has initiative without needing to be micromanaged by the Marketing Manager

Experience:
– Has experience leading and managing marketing-related efforts: marketing database, front-end & backend of key accounts, social media platforms
– Digital native and has experience towards communicating with potential partners or customers via email, voice message, video, or other forms of communication.
