Job Description:

As a Marketing Assistant at Rapid Contractor Marketing, you will play a vital role in supporting our marketing efforts across various disciplines, including copywriting, design, and technical implementation. Your primary responsibilities will involve organizing and overseeing the implementation of marketing initiatives, working directly with our director, and coordinating team members and contractors to execute campaigns for our clients and in-house brands. To excel in this role, you must possess self-organization skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to think clearly, prioritize tasks, and drive their implementation within a fast-paced team.

– An experienced marketing assistant with skills across various marketing disciplines (copy, design, technical implementation). You’ll work directly with the director and be tasked with organizing its implementation.
– You possess strong self-organization skills, exceptional attention to detail, and can think clearly, prioritize, and drive the implementation of tasks in a busy, fast moving-team.
– You have the ability to coordinate various team members and contractors to develop and execute marketing initiatives for our customers and in-house brands.
– You’re comfortable working directly with a fast-paced executive. You possess the ability to push back when necessary and are not easily overwhelmed by rapid ideas or strong personalities.
– You’re hungry and driven to grow personally, learn new skills, and contribute to driving growth in the business. You are ambitious, resourceful, and creative.
– You’re comfortable with the occasional chaos that comes from working in a small, fast-growing business. Your role will likely evolve as the business grows.
– You have high-integrity, both with your coworkers and customers. You value open, honest, zero-drama relationships.
– You’re comfortable having varied responsibilities, especially for our in-house brands.
– Ideally 3 -5 years. Qualitative over Quantitative relative experience
– Implementer Role

Desired Skills and Aptitude:

– Exceptional written and spoken English.
– Proficiency in creating standard operating procedures and project management.
– Ability to use tools like Canva, Instapage, and visual page builders.
– Strong knowledge of word processing tools like Google Docs and Word.
– Enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT and prompt engineering to enhance our workflow.
– Experience in crafting engaging sales and marketing copy.
– Familiarity with Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
– Comfortable making simple technical changes, adding blog posts and content on Shopify.
– Basic video editing skills, especially using tools like Descript.
– Familiarity with email marketing systems, email automation systems, and campaign management.
– Experience with Shopify and the ability to navigate and make basic technical changes.
– Familiarity with Google Ads.
– Experience with integration systems like Zapier and a basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
