Job Description

We are an award-winning email and SMS marketing agency, seeking to welcome an experienced Creative Marketing Assistant to play a key role in our content marketing efforts – including blog posts, social media, community engagement, and email newsletter. You will work directly with the CEO to help drive brand awareness, build and engage our audience, and generate high-quality leads for our services.
This is a long-term hourly position approximately 10 hours per week with potential for growth.
This role can be performed from any location, as long as you can conduct video meetings in a distraction-free setting. You can set your own hours but dependability is key, and you must be available for a weekly meeting with the CEO PST timezone.
What you will help with…
Creating coherent content marketing strategies across social media, email newsletter, and blog – including helping launch and market our book.
Responsible for all content creation, management and scheduling for social media, email newsletter, and blogs (including publish to the website).
Optimizing by keyword and SEO specific to each platform
Writing content in the company’s voice
General research as needed
Tracking metrics and reporting on results
Possibly helping secure guest appearances for podcasts, blogs, and other events
About you…
3+ years experience working in a similar role preferably with B2B businesses.
High proficiency in social media platforms, blogging, and newsletters.
Strong work ethic and extreme attention to detail.
Feel empowered to take on responsibility as part of the team – don’t wait to be told what to do, self-starting, take initiative, make suggestions.
Love all things social media and has a knack for interacting with people on different platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Ability to learn and write in company’s voice for social media and blog content.
Proficiency in using Gsuite, publishing blogs on WordPress, using a CRM similar to Klaviyo.
Proficient in graphics / video reel creation for social media post (youtube excluded)
Positive, supportive attitude – friendly tone and excellent communication skills.
Low-maintenance, KIND, easy to work with, trustworthy.
HIGHLY reliable and honest.
Do not need to be micromanaged and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Believe in open and honest communication for the greater good of all.
FUN! Must be a person with an outgoing and fun personality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content
Excellent English (native or bilingual)

Worked with executives of companies doing at least $1M in revenue
