This is a full-time services provider position but with work-life balance, and flexibility and freedom earned by figuring out how to get things done. You need to take care of some personal business, or even go out of town for a family emergency on short notice? No problem, so long as you take responsibility for things getting done.

You are a pro-active individual who can see the big picture and then make recommendations for all the nitty-gritty details to make things better instead of waiting around for instructions

• You have experience selling something, you were good at it, and you enjoyed it

Here’s what you are going to do in this service provider position to assist in acquiring new clients and referral sources, and nurture relationships with existing ones

MARKETING MATERIALS –
Develop weekly marketing materials for targeted audiences and practice areas & publish online
Write & Publish Online 1) Blogs, 2) Newsletters, 3) other Marketing emails
Create video camera advertising using iMovie, or other to edit, and upload recordings to online platform.
Create basic graphic content for print, online, or other advertising (we’re not looking for a graphic artist here, just someone who can create a decent flyer, for example, in Word or PowerPoint)
Provide regular and marketing information updates to maintain strong awareness of key client related subjects via the Firm’s Newsletter and the weekly email marketing pieces
Keep the client-related sections of the Firm’s website and social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Linked In accounts) up-to-date and fresh, posting new information, and blogs regularly
Develop and maintain specific materials to be distributed in response to inquiries and referrals & follow up with all potential clients by phone, email, web inquiry, etc.
Manage email campaigns and follow up with Infusionsoft or other software
•• Monitor, suggest, and create website changes.

REFERRAL SOURCES & EVENTS –
Contact potential referral sources to arrange meetings with the owner, and to schedule & coordinate speaking events for the Attorney
Identify businesses, organizations, and referral sources that would be willing to invite the attorney to speak to their members, clients, or service populations; oversee all arrangements related to hosting or participating in such events
Refer non-prospects out to other professionals and track results.
Build and maintain our “Team 100” of vetted professionals we refer out to
Become a resource for all law firm referral sources.

At all times maintain the Firm’s marketing documents and materials in locations that are accessible to the Owner and Firm Administrator.

TRACKING
Track all lead-to-prospect-to-client conversion metrics.
Maintain current clients/Prospects/Leads statistics and report weekly to the Owner.
Monitor and report on progress on new prospects, leads, prospective new clients, proposals in process, referral sources, trends, etc.
Track all marketing and advertising inventory

CARE CALL FORMER CLIENTS
Execute the firm’s back-end marketing system to ensure customer service and top of mind awareness
Call current and former clients (on behalf of the firm) to check-in and see if there is anything the firm can do to assist them, or whether they have friends or family that would be open to firm help (also called GAS calls or Smile & Dial calls)

Education & Experience
The Marketing Assistant should have educational background (degree) in marketing or should have work experience in marketing at an equivalent level.
Bonus experience with Imovie, WordPress, Infusionsoft
One to three years of experience working in marketing and sales is preferred
