Position Overview:
The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing team by creating and managing engaging content across various platforms. This remote position reports to the Marketing Director and requires a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will be AI-savvy, proficient in social media management, video editing, and have a solid understanding of WordPress and email marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Create, schedule, and manage posts across multiple social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter).
Develop engaging content, including graphics, videos, and reels, to enhance our social media presence.
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers.
Content Creation:
Publish approved blog articles and other website content using WordPress.
Collaborate with the team to develop and implement content strategies that align with our marketing goals.
Create visually appealing social media graphics using Canva.
Create marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, business cards, and social media carousel posts.
Translate social media content to other languages (Spanish, Arabic) when necessary.
Video Editing:
Edit and produce high-quality videos and reels for social media and marketing campaigns.
Repurpose long-form content into short-form reels for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook Reels.
Ensure video content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
Email Marketing:
Assist in the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns.
Manage email lists, segment audiences, and analyze campaign performance.
Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Assist in analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns and provide actionable insights.
General Support:
Assist with administrative tasks and other marketing-related duties as needed.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
Proficiency in video editing software and tools.
Basic knowledge of WordPress and experience with posting content/blog articles.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms and strategies.
Proficient in Canva for creating social media graphics.
AI-savvy with the ability to leverage AI tools for content creation and marketing tasks.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
Ability to take direction and work collaboratively within a team.
Proactive, self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Staying up to date with social media updates and algorithms
3+ years of experience in marketing or a related field.
Preferably 1+ year of experience working in the legal industry sector.
Must be available 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern Time.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Not required but a plus if skilled in:
Bilingual (Spanish, Arabic) and/or good at translating social media content to other languages.
Podcast production and editing.
Using Descript and CapCut.
TikTok content creation and management.
WordPress Website Design and Development
Facebook Advertising and PPC ad campaign setup/management.
