Role Responsibilities of an Automation Specialist:
– Provide support to the Australian Marketing Automation manager to drive all direct automation communications for the group across all brands
– Delivering and optimising an integrated suite of customer communications via multiple channels to improve customer conversion, onboarding efficiency and within Salesforce marketing cloud
– Work closely with the creative team to ensure all communications are consistent and adhere to all legal requirements, with a hands on approach when required
– Understand and evaluate campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance to the overall marketing team
– Work with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance. Create recommendations to improve campaigns continuously
– Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards
– Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates
– Support essential marketing operations initiatives in Salesforce such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing
– Understand, and keep up to date with the Australian spam act, spam regulations, and industry legal requirements
– Identify and keep track of technology, market trends and competitor activity
– Create, drive and adhere to all direct communication procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy
– Execute one off/ad hoc customer communication campaigns as required, including creative development
– Conduct data analytics, market research, and internal customer data profiles to enhance growth strategies
About You
– 5+ years’ demonstrated marketing automation experience, preferable within Salesforce marketing cloud.
– Tertiary Qualifications In a Marketing Or Business Related Field.
– Proven experience in developing and implementing automation platforms and customer journey management.
-An excellent understanding of customer experience practice coupled with a customer-first mindset and passion for building brand advocacy.
– Strong experience in building complex journey’s within Salesforce Marketing Cloud is essential.
– An understanding of the Australian spam act, spam regulations and the ability to grasp strict industry legal requirements.
– Highly analytical with the ability to conduct experiments using the latest techniques to test, learn and improve the customer experience across the funnel.
– Proven results in increasing engagement rates across all relevant automation mediums.
– Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including ability to influence and negotiate.
– Wagering experience or an understanding of sports and racing is desirable (not essential).
– Very strong attention to detail, with an understanding of detailed procedures.
