Client’s Profile

The client owns two yoga studies in the US to help their customers with health coaching and wellness and provide diverse hot yoga classes suitable for all skill levels and interests. The studios offer a sanctuary for stress relief, where expert instructors guide participants through poses and stretches in a heated room. The emphasis is on holistic wellness, combining physical fitness with mental and emotional balance. They welcome individuals on unique wellness journeys, offering various class styles to suit different preferences. It’s a place to discover the transformative benefits of hot yoga in a supportive and welcoming environment.

What you’ll do

Our client seeks a creative Marketing & Content Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, deeply understands visual conceptualization, and is skilled at design, including graphics, visuals and video edits. In this role, you will be expected to utilize the company’s prepared comprehensive quarterly marketing strategy (for social and email copy) to create captivating corresponding visuals, execute the monthly calendar, track marketing efforts and help grow a supportive online Community. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

– Personalize and Execute the monthly marketing strategy & content calendar with social media & email content direction provided by the company’s marketing agency.
– Utilize the company’s content narrative to create compelling graphics aligning with their direction (images, infographics, video clips, etc).
– Ensure images are sized according to each social platform & email specifications.
– Ensure a seamless transition from content strategy to graphic creation and scheduling with visual consistency and branding across all platforms.
– Develop and execute bespoke promotional event campaigns, personalizing the monthly content calendar to align with the business’s current marketing initiatives.
– Review and optimize website landing pages by implementing necessary copy updates, updating visuals, and adding videos, promotions and upcoming events.
– Manage the brand’s social media tool to schedule posts, including images, video, stories and static content, meticulously optimizing content for each platform (Facebook, IG & TikTok).
– Monitor industry trends and share ideas for trending posts, videos or live events.
– Identify target audiences, key platforms, and KPIs for the strategy executed.
– Finalize and schedule weekly newsletters in line with the provided content strategy and copy, utilizing photos and videos to enhance.
– Craft compelling promotional event email campaigns that captivate the audience, drive engagement, and nurture leads through strategic content and design.
– Manage the email marketing platform, ensuring automation flows are optimized.
– Build and grow a positive online Community (with the company Account Manager), helping to craft content to share company education and organizing promotional events, challenges, or initiatives to spark community participation and excitement.
– Gather social media and email analytics from the respective tools and share monthly marketing strategy reports with learnings.

What you should have

– At least three years of experience and industry knowledge in relevant Marketing roles (Marketing Strategist, Graphic Designer, Content Strategist, etc.).
– Experience with creative design, including graphics, visuals and video edits.
– Experience transitioning content strategy to graphic creation, ensuring visual consistency across all platforms.
– Must have experience using Google Workspace, MS Office, Trello & Canva (Loomly, Loom, Publicate, StudioGrowth & Wellness – Living, and any project management tools would be a plus!)
– Experience working with a health or wellness company is a big plus!
– Experience executing a content strategy and managing a monthly content calendar
– Experience creating compelling promotional content and email campaigns
– Experience updating website content and optimizing landing pages
– Experience with social media tools for scheduling and analytics reporting
– Experience with email marketing tools for sending emails, automation and analytics
– Experience with growing, managing or moderating a Community is a big plus!
– Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee and execute the provided marketing strategy
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Able to work independently and autonomously, responsible for managing deadlines
