This position or role is responsible for leading and providing direction to our marketing team under the guidance of the CEO and Executive Director. This position will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting the marketing team’s efforts, including developing sales strategies, marketing campaigns, social media campaigns, and interpreting marketing analytics.
The marketing assistant role is key to helping a marketing organization run smoothly and effectively. Individuals applying for this role should have demonstrated the ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks efficiently and independently.
Our team is hiring a marketing assistant to keep our organization running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects for key stakeholders and maintaining excellent communication.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Coordination:
Provide direction, guidance, and coordination to the marketing team, ensuring a cohesive and high-performing marketing department.
Support the marketing leadership team through the organization and administrative support for various projects.
Maintain strong communication between marketing executives and internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate employee meetings and communications for the marketing department.
Maintain executive schedules and oversee project load.
Plan, prepare and deliver presentations on behalf of the marketing team.
Conduct research for key marketing campaigns.
Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.
Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success (e.g., Twitter chats, LinkedIn discussions, etc.).
Work alongside other marketers and content marketers to help distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and supports marketing goals.
Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers.
Track, measure and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI.
Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
2. Marketing Strategy:
Collaborate with the CEO and Executive Director to develop and execute effective marketing strategies for the organizations and their products.
Oversee the marketing direction for specific organizations, ensuring targeted and effective campaigns to drive product awareness and sales.
Work with the marketing team to develop effective strategies that align with organizational goals and targets.
3. Marketing Campaigns:
Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across various channels to reach target audiences and achieve marketing objectives.
Development and creation of engaging and impactful social media campaigns, promotions and creative contents to enhance brand presence and engagement.
Collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data to make data-driven decisions and optimize marketing efforts.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing materials, including flyers, calendars, social media graphics, and other promotional materials.
4. Brand Management:
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
Collaborate in managing marketing budgets effectively and allocate resources efficiently to achieve maximum ROI.
Support:
Provide administrative functions, if necessary, to the CEO and other collaborating teams.
Prepare and communicate reports related to marketing.
Qualifications:
Has a good track record on digital marketing and branding. Portfolio is an advantage.
Can deliver quality outputs in a timely manner.
Team player, goal oriented and can be available in communication throughout the shift.
Can be able to work between 9:00 am to 5:00 am PST, Mondays to Fridays
Can be able to communicate goals, lead projects and execute plans with initiative and independence.
Comfortable on doing other administrative tasks like reports, monitoring sheets, etc.
Experience working in the same industry is an advantage.
Knows how to use tools for creating promotional materials.
Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
Proficiency in using social media software (e.g. CMM, HubSpot’s Social Inbox) to monitor social media conversations. You will be our ear to the ground to route the appropriate marketer, sales rep, and/or support rep to social conversations.
Bonus experience and skills include Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, demand generation, inbound marketing, Ai programs, and blogging.
Experience in website design and content development
Stellar written and oral communication skills
Extensive knowledge of current and relevant markets
Proficient in analytics and market testing
Must know Wix, Shoptify, CMM, CRM,
Willingness to try innovative marketing strategies
Excellent time management, able to balance many projects at once
