Who is HUUB?

Where we need help:
You will be working closely with the Chief Operations Officer on maintaining marketing, updating graphics, and leading the expansion of our English and Spanish Marketing efforts. You will be supporting a variety of day-to-day marketing, communication, and planning tasks. The Marketing Coordinator will work directly with the COO and Marketing team to drive the HUUB brand and market the HUUB platform to our city, community partners, and small business users through new and existing marketing efforts. You will work on a wide variety of marketing strategies and will help us implement these strategies for growth in our B2G company.

We are seeking an assistant who can support initiatives to expand our Spanish presence and interest in driving projects forward.

What does the job entail today?
Here’s what you’ll be working on a day-to-day, but flexibility is key, and other responsibilities may arise. You will be focusing on the following with the guidance and support of our COO and Marketing Director:
– Outreach: Assist in contact management for relationship nurturing and engagement, through phone calls, messaging, and email campaigns.
– Collateral and Content: Create/translate marketing materials for HUUB cities and partners with a focus on Spanish campaigns. Take direction from Marketing Director on additional collateral and content initiatives.
– Events: Assist Marketing Director with event coordination – in person and online.
– Digital: Strategize, develop, and build communications through email, social media, and digital campaigns. Work with the Marketing Director on social media content for HUUB (copy & graphics), daily engagement for HUUB social media pages, monthly newsletters (Ideation, copy, graphics), paid digital ads, and more. You will analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns.
– Analytics: Track, report, and recommend improvements for campaigns based on insights and trends.
– Strategy: Support in monitoring, tracking, and supplementing Marcomm plan initiatives. Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g. product and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives.
– Research: Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities.
– Growth: Identify areas of opportunity for growth and pitch campaign ideas with a focus on Spanish-speaking communities & other underserved markets.
– Ad Hoc Projects: As needed across multiple departments, fill gaps cross-functionally by building an understanding of the unique operational needs of our business.

At least one year in a marketing, PR, or communication role, or similar experience

Preferred Skills:
– An understanding of the challenges of small businesses, especially those of hard-to-reach, under-represented communities
– Exposure and/or direct experience with small business owners, with a deep knowledge of the highs and lows of entrepreneurship.
– Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and other paid media as well as software tools for automation, CRM, email marketing, graphic design, project management, communication, collaboration, etc.
– Experience working with a remote team.
– Ready to jump in and learn.
