Lean Six Marketing, an innovative startup dedicated to revolutionizing the marketing landscape with a focus on lead generation and conversion optimization, seeks an experienced and versatile Marketing Director (MD) to develop our marketing strategy and lead our marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing, conversion optimization, email marketing, and sales nurturing. In addition to overseeing all marketing operations, the MD will play a critical role in team building, acting as HR to recruit marketing professionals, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each role, and managing projects and deadlines. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills to ensure that client acquisition and revenue targets are consistently met.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to effectively increase lead generation, conversion rates, and sales.
Team Building and HR Responsibilities: Act as HR in the initial stages, recruiting a skilled marketing team, defining roles, and establishing SOPs for each position.
Project and Deadline Management: Oversee the marketing team’s projects, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and objectives are met.
Operational Excellence: Plan and manage marketing operations, ensuring the company’s unique voice is projected through all functions and operations, including product development, branding, and communications.
Campaign Coordination: Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR, and marketing efforts across various channels to maximize reach and effectiveness.
Performance Monitoring: Track marketing performance, using data analytics to inform decision-making and optimize campaign results.
Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends, consumer behaviors, and technological advancements, using insights to guide marketing strategies.
Revenue Targets: Ensure that client acquisition and revenue targets are achieved on a weekly and monthly basis, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet these goals.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing leadership role, preferably within a marketing firm, with a proven track record of building and leading successful teams.
Demonstrable experience in developing marketing strategies, with a strong focus on digital marketing, conversion optimization, and email marketing.
Skilled in HR functions related to recruiting and team building, with experience developing SOPs for marketing roles.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis methods and marketing metrics to guide strategy and operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Proficient in MS Office, CRM software, and up-to-date with the latest marketing technologies and digital marketing tools.
