Job Summary:
The Marketing Graphic Designer plays a vital role in creating visually compelling marketing materials while ensuring a user-centric and aesthetically pleasing experience for our audience. This multifaceted role combines graphic design expertise with a keen understanding of user experience principles.
What you will work on:
Develop visually appealing marketing materials, including social media graphics, digital ads, flyers, brochures, infographics, and other visual assets
Ensure that all design work aligns with our brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent visual identity
Implement user-centered design principles to ensure our digital properties are easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing
Collaborate with the marketing team to create original and engaging design concepts that effectively communicate key messages
Design materials for both digital and print use, optimizing graphics for various platforms and media
Use design to tell compelling stories and convey complex messages through visual means
Curate and select images and illustrations for marketing materials, ensuring they align with our brand and message
Edit and retouch photos to enhance visual appeal and coherence
Manage and prioritize design tasks to meet deadlines and project requirements
Our ideal candidate has:
A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, UX Design, or a related field (or relevant work experience)
Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools
Strong portfolio showcasing creative design work and UX projects
Knowledge of design principles, layout, typography, and color theory
Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and practices
Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
Creativity and the ability to turn ideas and concepts into engaging visuals
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the marketing team
Time management skills to manage multiple projects within deadlines
Experience with digital marketing, social media design, and UX design would be an advantage
