Job Overview:
As the Marketing Manager – Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media marketing strategies that align with our company goals and objectives. You will play a crucial role in building our brand presence, engaging our target audience, and driving customer acquisition and retention through various social media channels. In addition, you will manage a team of social media specialists, ensuring their work is aligned with our brand guidelines and objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research to understand current trends and customer preferences.
• Create marketing strategy and budgets.
• Coordinate with the creation of marketing materials and content and perform all other relevant tasks essential for increasing the business’s sales.
• Develop and implement effective social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion rates.
• Manage and oversee all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Create and curate monthly content calendars that contain engaging content that is tailored to different social media channels and target audiences.
• Conceptualize and execute other ads, promotions, and other collaterals outside social media that can help promote the brand.
• Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications to stay up to date with the latest advancements and leverage new opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and product, to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
• Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize performance.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Manage and mentor a team of social media specialists, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
• Stay up to date with social media advertising platforms and leverage paid media opportunities to drive targeted campaigns.
• Monitor and respond to customer inquiries, comments, and reviews on social media platforms, maintaining a positive brand image and excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven work experience as a Marketing Manager or in a similar role with a strong focus on social media marketing.
• In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, trends, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative marketing strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
