Job Description

Highland Park Lapidary is looking for a marketing manager who will share in our values of being inspirational, disciplined, accountable, transparent, aligned, and results-oriented. This individual should be a highly creative and efficient Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for identifying target audiences and building digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate our clients. This position will also be responsible for optimizing marketing strategies, managing the Marketing departments’ budget, overseeing employees, and forecasting. The Marketing Manager will play a key role in promoting Highland Park Lapidary and services to increase brand awareness and profitability. This position will report directly to the CEO.

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like when you join our team:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Incorporate the company’s best practices with knowledge of owned, earned, and paid media through design, copy, search engine, email marketing, social media, and paid search capabilities
Plan and execute all digital marketing from strategy to execution including:
SEO/SEM campaigns
Social media campaigns
Marketing database campaigns
Email campaigns
Display advertising campaigns
Understand and apply emerging trends in digital marketing, mobile marketing, and automation
Add comments, create a strategy, and ensure accuracy to improve the department process
Design, build and maintain a social media presence including on-brand copywriting and visual applications
Monitor and optimize all digital marketing campaigns to maximize engagement & overall ROI
Identify trends and insights to optimize spending and performance and consistently strive to find new solutions and tools for creative growth strategies both effectively and efficiently
Collaborate with internal teams to build trust and confidence with clients through a remarkable user experience
Propose additional value-adds in the department process and builds out SOPs (standard operating procedures) for the Marketing department
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

COMPETENCIES
– Demonstrates experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
– Possesses extensive knowledge in optimizing landing pages, user funnels, and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
– Demonstration of expertise in marketing strategy with the ability to gather and link accurate marketing data to future business goals
– Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in online marketing
– Demonstrates an understanding of leadership expectations
– Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to analyze data, make observations from numbers and reports, and know how to qualify and deliver results based on data
– Ability to track marketing data and convert to business ROI
– Demonstrates strong analytic skills and data-driven thinking

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
– Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related area of study, or equivalent work experience
– 4+ years of work experience in marketing, sales, and management
– Substantial experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), project management software (e.g., Asana), and G Suite (Google Slides and Google Docs)
– Substantial experience with Shopify, eBay, Google, and Amazon marketplaces
