Record Retrieval Solution is a Florida-based company dealing with online medical records retrieval services.
As our company has been growing rapidly over the past years, we’re looking to develop our marketing organization and better manage sales opportunities and leads with content marketing and marketing campaign build-outs: website content, blog, mailing and re-targeting, link building, etc. We are therefore in search of a marketing manager to help support our growth journey.
The position will be the primary driver of marketing and will have significant responsibility in managing and executing all marketing campaigns. This role will be mentored and managed by an external marketing strategist (fractional CMO, functional reporting) along with the company CEO (administrative reporting), who have set together clear 90-day, 1-year, and 3-year outcomes for the business.
The marketing manager will be given expert-level marketing and industry training and work closely with our sales, customer service, and operations teams.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (non-exhaustive list)
– Market Research – Research competitors, identify content opportunities, monitor Google Trends, and share recommendations with the fCMO and marketing coordinator.
– Content Creation: Oversee the creation of content for marketing materials, websites, social media, email campaigns, videos and other marketing channels as per campaigns requirements.
– Campaign Management – Manage all marketing and website activities in the company CRM and WordPress website, follow up with responsible parties, and make sure projects are completed on time.
– Campaign Optimization – Review analytics for all content, SEO, and advertising campaigns daily/weekly, identify issues/opportunities and share with leadership.
– CRM & Data Management – Ensure the captured leads are properly tagged/categorized, and the data remains up-to-date. Monitor CRM leads feeding from the website and other acquisition channels. You need to have experience or be comfortable working with a CRM.
– Email marketing – Run the newsletter, nurturing and cold email campaigns for existing and new leads using the provided software solutions
– Search Engine Optimization – Optimize title tags, headlines, and page slugs. Identify content gaps within articles and web pages and propose improvements to the fCMO. Keep the company GMB profile updated.
– Knowledge Base creation – Develop, maintain and update the company internal knowledge base for clients and prospects
– Vendor Management – Coordinate with marketing vendors or external partners, which might include website vendors, freelance designers, content editors, ads campaign specialists, etc
– KPIs Reporting – Collect and compile monthly KPIs on the website, SEO, and campaign performance and share with the fCMO for monthly reviews. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications and strategies.
– Strategy Development: Contribute to the company marketing strategy development along with the fCMO in order to stay top of mind for existing clients and attract new leads.
– Team Management: Lead, direct, and coordinate marketing efforts to ensure the team meets organizational goals. Manage a marketing coordinator (to be recruited later on)
– Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI and meet financial objectives.
– Brand Management: Maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications.
– Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and customer support, to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.
THE DAY-TO-DAY
– Use tools like Frase to make improvements to site content to improve organic SEO.
– Track website traffic and SEO performance through Google Analytics, SEM Rush and Google Search Console
– Become a CRM marketing automation expert and keep up with software updates and best practices
– Find new ways to leverage existing content and increase offers to our customer base. This means having the desire to know the pains of our target audience market, so you can help us solve them.
– Heavy emphasis on direct response marketing. We want to know explicitly which email campaigns convert prospects to leads, then improve our less-performing campaigns to generate more transformation and sales.
– Schedule out the timelines of projects and ensure execution. You’ll need to understand the details of what’s needed, so you can plan out the full project. We’ll help you with this.
– Improve and set up sales funnels on our site and with the CRM. You don’t need to be a programmer, but you need to become proficient with the click-to-build features of both services. We will get you started, but you’ll need to put in the time to understand our tools.
– Research our competitors, aggregate best practices and recommendations, and report to leadership as needed
– Schedule content campaigns on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis and execute them as per agreed schedule
You’ll be given clear outcomes each quarter to focus on. Your ability to hit those outcomes is how we measure how well you’re performing.
REQUIREMENTS
– Be results-oriented. If you don’t produce results, you’re not likely a fit for our team. This means generating revenue for our business.
– Passion for digital marketing with a basic understanding of inbound marketing and strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising.
– Able to back up your marketing genius with real math and metrics week to week.
– Have a system for tracking the most relevant KPIs.
– Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO). You will be provided additional training and guidance after joining.
– Basic knowledge of email marketing best practices and compliance
– Proficiency in marketing automation tools and platforms.
-Desire to learn on your own and keep up with inbound marketing and digital marketing developments and best practices
– Extremely tech savvy and proficient in online apps and tools required to run an online business
– Extreme attention to detail
– Tenacious belief in hitting deadlines and meeting commitments
– Inbound certification or HubSpot certification is a plus, as well as familiarity with WordPress (coding experience not required)
