Role Purpose: The Marketing Manager is responsible to develop and expand Link Digital’s market growth. The objectives are to increase the positive public image of Link Digital, increase our level of high-quality leads and capitalise on positive PR and marketing opportunities for the company.

1. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Desirable: (min 3 areas of experience preferred for the role. These are the “nice to haves”)
• Understanding of CKAN or any data management service
• Experience in working for international clients
• Scrum knowledge
• Knowledge of international software or consulting marketing techniques.
Essential: (qualifications and experience essential for the role. These are the “must haves”)
• BS in marketing or a related field
• Proven 5 year+ work experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in delivering excellent customer service, both internal and external
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Knack for written and oral communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in international marketing
• Experience in software, consulting of technical marketing environments.

3. RESPONSIBILITIES, OBJECTIVES AND DELIVERABLES
(Deliverables need to be SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely)
• Lead the growth marketing strategies adopted for driving growth within the company.
• Develop marketing campaigns and plans in alignment with marketing funnel goals and targets.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPI) and monitor ongoing channel and campaign performance and regularly provide updates to marketing leads.
• Create marketing plans to assist and drive our international expansion.
• Responsible for marketing campaign planning, execution, coordination and measurement.
• Establish and refine resources using a clear voice, consistent message, and appropriate branding.
• Oversee digital marketing including email, organic and paid social media
o Manage Web analytics, AdWords spend, Social Media content and lead generation.
o Project managing brand Initiatives.
o Content marketing activities include content planning, development, design, production and publishing.
o Digital marketing activities including campaign development and execution – social and database channels.
• Build and maintain a positive public image via identifying media opportunities, maintaining existing media relations and promoting positive public awareness of the company, internally and externally.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s service offerings and value proposition.
• Document and update marketing processes on the Link Digital knowledge base
• Monitor market conditions, competitor actions and collaborate to implement effective marketing strategies.
• Provide feedback on market trends and competitive threats, successes and areas needing improvements.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at events and customer meetings.
• Follow industry trends locally and internationally.
• Maintain consistency and quality in all client communications.
• Carry forward any additional strategic marketing activities as agreed with the executive leadership team, such as:
o Strategically position Link Digital for release of a ‘DataShades’ type product
