Marketing Manager at Megapixels School of the Arts

Position: Marketing Manager

Type: Part-Time

Role Overview: We are looking for someone who already has experience and proven results in using marketing to get new clients. This will start as a part-time contractor role and will potentially become a full time salaried role. Our goal is to double our revenue in the next 12 months for our small online art school by getting new students. You will play a key role in expanding our student base by developing creative and effective marketing strategies, including AI tools, social media campaigns, and funnel building. IMPORTANT:
We want somebody who can come up with a strategy, knows how to measure the results, gets us results, and has a really strong attention to detail. Perfect written English is a must. These are the things we want the most. We’ll know you’re successful in this role if we get more students, which will generate enough revenue to cover your pay plus increase the business profits.

Key Responsibilities:
– Strategic Planning: Work closely with the CEO to develop a comprehensive marketing plan and strategy to increase student enrollment.
– Campaign Management: Develop and implement new ideas for growth, including social media funnels and innovative marketing campaigns.
– Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement, including social media engagement, email marketing, list building, and website traffic.
– Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the marketing team while actively participating in campaign execution.
– Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams and external partners. Perfect English is a must, especially written English and grammar.
– Innovation: Stay informed about the latest marketing trends and tools, particularly in AI and digital marketing, to keep us at the forefront of the industry.
– Customer Engagement: Create strategies to enhance customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty.
– Collaboration with Ciara (admin/graphic designer): Assign graphic design and creative writing tasks to Ciara. Review her work, provide feedback, and ensure the content aligns with our marketing strategy. We might also get an intern who you would oversee.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience in a marketing role with a record of achieving measurable results.
– Experience with social media marketing, email marketing, list building, and website traffic analysis.
– Familiarity with AI tools and their application in marketing is an advantage.
– Perfect English. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
– Detail-oriented and highly organized.
– Passionate about marketing and eager to bring innovative ideas to the table.
– Self-driven and proactive, with a growth mindset.
– A team player with strong leadership abilities and a willingness to engage in hands-on work and has no ego.
– A degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
