Role: Marketing Ops Associate
Type: Full Time
Location: International, Fully Remote
Hours & Expectations: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm EST

What you’ll do:
The Marketing Operations Associate will support the marketing team by managing the operational aspects of marketing projects, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the execution of marketing campaigns. This role will involve coordinating with various departments, analyzing marketing data, optimizing processes, and managing marketing technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

– Developing Marketing Strategies: This involves creating long-term and short-term marketing plans to achieve our objectives. Strategies may include segmentation, targeting, positioning, and messaging. Creative and experimental strategies encouraged.
– A/B Testing: Be able to put together multiple test methods to test multiple hypotheses and conclude the best strategy.
– Market Research: Conducting market research to understand consumer needs, preferences, and behaviors. This may involve analyzing data, studying competitors, conducting interviews and surveys.
– Brand Management: Building and maintaining the company’s brand image. This includes managing brand identity, messaging, and ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
– Advertising and Promotion: Planning and executing advertising campaigns across various channels. This may also involve managing relationships with advertising agencies.
– Digital Marketing: Overseeing digital marketing efforts such as social media marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), email marketing, and content marketing.
– Analytics and Reporting: Monitoring and analyzing marketing metrics to track the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions. This includes measuring ROI, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
– Continuous Learning and Improvement: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, new AI tools + technologies, and best practices in marketing, and continuously improving marketing strategies and tactics.

Qualifications and skills:
-Skilled in excelling amid the challenges of a start-up environment
-Must have some administrative experience
-Must be familiar w category design and brand archetypes
-Has experience with copywriting
-Must be able to work on multiple projects and platforms at once
-Must be able to work in US time zones
-Must be able to sit at a computer for an extended period
-Must have fluency in managing independent tasks
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Knowledge and experience with Google Suite and CRM systems
-Has experience with
-Passionate about finding creative solutions to complex problems
-Campaign Execution: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns across multiple channels including email, social media, digital advertising, and events.
-Data Management: Manage and maintain marketing databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Perform data analysis to provide insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.
-Marketing Automation: Utilize marketing automation tools to streamline marketing processes, manage workflows, and execute campaigns.
-Performance Reporting: Generate and analyze marketing performance reports to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Provide actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
-Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving marketing operations processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
-Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Sales, Product, and IT to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
-Technology Management: Manage and optimize the use of marketing technology platforms, including CRM systems, email marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
-Budget Management: Assist in managing the marketing budget, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.

Qualifications:
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Experience: 1-3 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing analytics, or a related role.
-Technical Skills: Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel).
-Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
-Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
-Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with A/B testing and other optimization techniques.
-Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and trends.
-Certification in marketing automation or analytics tools
