Our Client is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States. Their mission is to end the veteran suicide epidemic by providing resources, research, and advocacy for U.S. military veterans.
They are looking for a remote virtual assistant with experience in project coordinating in the marketing space.
Requirements:
– 2-4 years of experience in a marketing or related role
– Proficient (or willing to learn very quickly) , Slack, Google Docs, Grammarly, ChatGPT, , or other AI tools
– Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making
– Excellent communication and project management skills
– Highly organized and detail-oriented
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
– Experience with website management and social media platforms is a plus.
– Familiarity with marketing campaigns and advertising strategies
– Experience in event planning and coordination
Responsibilities:
– Coordinate and manage marketing projects from start to finish, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time.
– Assist with Director of Marketing inbox management.
– Update tasks in the management system, prioritizing and assigning tasks to team members.
– Assist with onboarding colleagues, as requested.
– Support the Marketing department in performing administrative research, writing, scheduling tasks, supporting meaningful relationships with directors, etc.
– Perform additional duties as assigned, including help with events, social media, PR, partnerships, and others as needed.
– Conduct research and analysis to inform project planning and execution.
– Track upcoming events for the organization and place them into the management system.
– Compile research and relevant industry trends to inform business development materials and overarching marketing activity.
– Follow-up on tasks that are pending from individuals.
– Collect, file, and maintain materials and reports in the appropriate corporate databases/folders/software.
– Ensure all client files and projects remain organized and adhere to naming conventions.
DAY TO DAY ROLE EXPECTATIONS:
– management (updating tasks priority, team, etc.)
– (meeting important tasks, timelines, and ideas extractions)
– Support the planning of special meetings and events.
– Provide support as needed in meeting agenda and materials coordination and distribution.
– Assist with onboarding colleagues, as requested.
– Support the Marketing department in performing administrative research, writing, scheduling tasks, supporting meaningful relationships with directors, etc.

– Extensive research on clients, trends, and marketplace
– Track upcoming events for the organization and place them on Monday
– Compile research and relevant industry trends to inform business development materials and overarching marketing activity.
– Follow-up on tasks that are pending from individuals
– Collect, file, and maintain materials and reports in the appropriate corporate databases/folders/software.
– Ensure all client files and projects remain organized and adhere to naming conventions.
– Assist in creating and managing detailed campaign performance reports with critical metrics, findings, and optimization recommendations.
– Manage company and client marketing platforms and troubleshoot as needed.
– Ensuring that the website team receives information to update the news section promptly.
