Director of Marketing – Social Media Strategy and Execution

Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded Director of Marketing to lead our social media accounts(s) efforts and drive our brand’s online presence to new heights. The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker with a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices. They will oversee the development and execution of comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion across all relevant channels. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and leadership to effectively manage our social media team and deliver impactful results.
Responsibilities:

Develop Social Media Strategy: Lead the development of a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing objectives and brand positioning.

Content Creation and Curation: Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality, engaging content for all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging platforms.

Campaign Management: Plan and execute integrated social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions, collaborating closely with internal teams such as content creators, designers, and copywriters.

Community Management: Monitor, engage, and build relationships with our social media community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to optimize strategy and tactics.

Stay Current with Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in social media marketing, incorporating innovative strategies and technologies to enhance our social media presence.
Budget Management: Manage social media advertising budgets effectively, optimizing campaigns for maximum ROI and performance.

Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of social media specialists, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to foster growth and success.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with other departments such as product development, customer service, and sales to ensure social media strategies are aligned with broader business objectives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Proven track record of success in developing and implementing social media strategies that drive business results.
Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strategic thinker with the ability to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
Experience managing social media advertising campaigns and budgets.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
