Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist! Prior experience in marketing is necessary. You MUST be creative and detail-oriented to do this job. You will be marketing a growing auto repair business! Male and female applicants are welcome! Pay is negotiable and will be based on experience. We’re currently hiring for approximately 3 hours per day with the potential for more time in the future. You will be working alongside another great VA who has been with us for a year.

1. Graphic Design
2. Social Media
3. Content Creation
4. Photo Editing
5. Video Editing
6. Marketing

Here are some of the things you may be asked to do depending on your talents:

Graphic Design
– Create professional flyers, postcards, and website graphics through Canva
– Create and edit graphics in Canva
– Design graphics for t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats

Social Media
– Create posts for social accounts and schedule through Hootsuite
– Engage and interact with customers through social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, You Tube)

Content Creation
– Create posts that will entertain our social media followers
– Write copy for our website and promotional materials that makes the customer the hero
– Create promotions for our services to bring in more business

Photo Editing
– Edit Photos in Lightroom and Photoshop or similar software
– Remove objects photos, remove background from photos
– Edit photos by adjusting exposure, highlights, shadows, removing objects

Video Editing
– Combine video clips to create a promotional video or to tell a story of our business and write copy to be read during the video

Other Tasks
– Listen to and score incoming phone calls
– Track coupons by pulling information from our database and entering it into an Excel spreadsheet
– Keep a monthly marketing budget spreadsheet

Marketing
– Market the business through our websites, social media, Google ads, and Facebook ads
– Promote our annual charity event to our followers and our local community
– Order apparel for employees (t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, hats)
– Conduct competitive analysis to see how we compare and how we might better serve our market
– Promote our business within our community and industry (such as in local and industry magazines)
