Marketing Specialist

We are looking for an ambitious marketing specialist to be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of our marketing strategy. You will focus on creating, implementing, tracking and optimizing our digital and traditional marketing campaigns across various marketing channels.

To be successful as a marketing specialist, you must be highly self-motivated, proactive, and have a working knowledge of current marketing tools and strategies in order to execute successful marketing campaigns.

We are the trusted partner of artists, jewelers and craftspeople for machines, parts, tools and supplies, rough rock, and other materials to turn their creative vision into reality. When you join our team, you will play a key role in keeping alive the 40-year passion and legacy of our founders in the art of lapidary.

We are constantly redefining the gold standard in lapidary. Over the last 3 years, we have experienced exponential growth. Recently, we partnered with a multi-billion company and we are ramping up our team to support this next level of growth.

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like when you join our team:

OBJECTIVES
– Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
– Create and manage engaging content for social media platforms, blogs, and the company website.
– Implement basic SEO strategies to improve website visibility and ranking.
– Design visually appealing marketing materials in line with the company’s brand identity.
– Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize strategies and maximize ROI.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Develop compelling content for social media posts, blogs, and other digital platforms.
– Ensure consistency in voice and branding across all channels.
– Create eye-catching graphics and visuals for marketing campaigns, social media, email marketing, and other digital assets.
– Implement basic SEO practices to enhance website traffic and search engine rankings.
– Conduct keyword research and optimize website content accordingly.
– Maintain and update the company website, ensuring all content is current and accurately reflects the brand.
– Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
– Work closely with the marketing team, sales team, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.

COMPETENCIES
– Strong skills in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar.
– Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush.
– Proficiency in website management platforms like WordPress, Shopify or similar CMS.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
– Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
– Proven experience in a similar marketing role, with a portfolio showcasing design work and content creation.
– Experience with social media management and digital marketing tools.
