Lucy Darling has an open position for a bright and creative Marketing Specialist to join the marketing team. It is a small team and everyone pitches in, so there will times you are working with the team and times you will be working independently, depending on need and skill level. This Specialist will get involved in all aspects of marketing, including:
-Planning an editorial calendar for social media, emails, SMS, web banners, advertising, blogs, etc.
-Creative development including direct response writing and design (from a template) for email, web banners, ads, etc
-SEO for website, including a blog post every week. Must have excellent writing skills.
-Social media management, daily posts and social media stores. Engage with followers and respond to comments and DMs. Analyze social media channel data and ensure posts are successful (success will be define by creating engagement and sales). -Growing the platforms followers and engagement. Respond to comments within 24 hours. Primary focus on Facebook and Instagram, but will also work with Pinterest, TikTok and YouTube.
-Influencers, find new influencers to promote our products. Track to ensure they posted and results. For effective influencers, build a relationship for continued posts and new product rollouts.
-Marketing projects and promotional plans, including manage monthly website drawing, new product rollouts, and more
-Email and SMS programs through Klaviyo, managing lists, creating the emails and texts, and evaluating the effectiveness.
-Digital advertising (social ads, remarking, google ad words, etc)
-Research trends, key words, and stay abreast of changes in the social media and marketing landscape to help adjust DTC marketing strategies.
-Photo and video library management
Skills needed:
-Organized multi-tasker
-Well versed in social media
-Must be fluent in English and excellent grammar and proofreading skills.
-Programs to know: Klaviyo, Shopify, Canva, excel and word, Proficient in google analytics and data reporting
Notes:
– This is a remote position working 40 hour a week. Must be able to work during Arizona, USA business hours (Pacific Time from March-October and Mountain Time October-March). The work hours would be 8am to 5pm M-F, with an hour for a lunch break. For exceptional candidates, we can discuss a modified schedule to alleviate time zone differences.
– Must have a computer and high-speed, reliable internet connection, and a workspace conducive to concentration and professionalism.
-7+ years of marketing experience across many of the disciplines required for this role.
-Bachelor’s degree or higher.
