We are looking for a proficient Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in market research and SWOT analysis. Having experience with the development of strategic marketing plans would be very desirable. This role will be integral in researching and understanding our markets, identifying opportunities for growth, and assisting in the delivery of effective marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities for increased sales and market share.

Execute regular SWOT analysis to evaluate the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats and develop strategies to capitalize on or mitigate these factors.

Develop and implement strategic marketing plans based on market research and SWOT analysis findings.

Analyze industry trends and competitive landscape, providing actionable insights to guide marketing decision-making.

Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Monitor and report on the effectiveness of ongoing marketing campaigns, making recommendations for adjustments as necessary.

Collaborate with team members in the creation of promotional materials and branded content.

Maintain knowledge of marketing trends, developments, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Candidates are required to have at least four (4) years of experience.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.

Proven experience in market research and SWOT analysis.

Strong understanding of marketing strategies and how to apply them in different contexts.

Knowledge of data analysis and market research techniques.

Proficient in MS Office/working knowledge of IT and marketing software (e.g., CRM).

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay will be based on experience and hours available. 8hr to 13 hr.

We are hoping to have someone on board by August 1st.

Hours are 20 hours a week. We are flexible, though if you have design or word press skills, we can use more hours.
