About Us:
Founded in 2010 by Dirk Koeppenkastrop and Nicole Lueker, IL Gelato Hawaii is on a mission to spread happiness with every scoop. Our award-winning gelato, crafted with passion and Aloha, is made fresh daily using only the finest natural ingredients sourced locally and globally, with recipes that support a healthy lifestyle by containing less sugar and fat than ice cream. As a rapidly growing company, we serve wholesale clients such as hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, in addition to operating six retail stores. Inspired by Dirk’s background in physical chemistry and training with gelato world champions in Europe, our gelato blends Hawaiian and Asian flavors with traditional European gelato making. Your Role:
As our Remote Social Media/Digital Creator & Personal Assistant, you’ll be the mastermind behind our online presence, managing our social media accounts and providing personal assistance as needed. Your mission? Spread joy and engage with our online community through creative content and exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
– Content Creation: Design visually appealing graphics and posts using tools such as Canva, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
– Video Editing: Create engaging video content for our social media platforms, editing and enhancing footage to captivate our audience.
– Website Management: Update and maintain our website on Wix, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date, and visually appealing.
– Content Planning: Develop a comprehensive content calendar for Instagram, including post ideas, themes, and scheduling.
– Content Sourcing: Receive and organize content materials for social media and marketing posts, ensuring consistency and quality.
– Engagement: Write engaging captions, respond to comments, and interact with followers to foster community engagement.
– Personal Assistance: Provide administrative support to the team as needed, including scheduling meetings, managing emails, and other tasks.
Ideal Candidate:
– Experience: Demonstrated experience in social media management, graphic design, video editing, and personal assistance.
– Skills: Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Wix, and video editing software. Excellent communication skills and a passion for creating engaging content.
– Availability: Embrace the flexibility of remote work and adapt to varying schedules as needed. Remote Working time would be Tuesday – Saturday working (PHT 7AM – 3PM).
– SEO experience
– Proficiency in using AI models such as CHATGPT and image creations such as midjourney
– 2-3 years of experience minimum
– Very good English language skills.
– Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
– Ability to work remotely and independently, with strong time management skills.
