Dr. Aimie Apigian, the founder of Trauma Healing Accelerated, is seeking a Marketing and Social Media Virtual Assistant who is achievement-oriented and highly organized for a contract-to-permanent placement position. The role requires an exceedingly detail-oriented candidate. Trauma Healing Accelerated (THA) was founded by Dr. Aimie Apigian, a double board-certified MD who teaches multiple online courses on the Biology of Trauma. Job Summary: The Marketing and Social Media VA’s primary focus is to implement overall marketing strategies for the company and provide support to the company’s lead content creator. This position oversees daily processes and operations that involve the implementation of email sequences, marketing emails, podcasts, and the management of social media platforms.
Tasks and Responsibilities: The critical role makes an impact by performing the following critical tasks:
Email Marketing Management
– Ensure that the emails have the correct links, information, and content before scheduling
– Prepare email marketing templates for course and event launches so the content lead will be able to substitute
– Manage the marketing pieces of a course or event launch including but not limited to the content needed for the – – – registration pages, sales pages, affiliate copy, email sequences, social media graphics, worksheets, etc.
– Develop and updating SOPs as needed
– Assist with other email marketing related tasks as needed
– Record and run data for email sequencing and help assess the performance of the email sequences
– Work closely with the Content Lead to achieve the goals of the project
Social Media Platforms Management
– Schedule and post final versions of content created by the Content Lead (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
– Engage with social media audience through comments using a personal, authentic, and warm type of communication and monitor their responses
– Monitor Livestreaming for YouTube
– Create events on Facebook and Linked In
– Track social media numbers, generate an accurate social media report, and provide assessment to the Content Lead of what content works and what needs to improve
– Provide helpful insights on audience behavior based on how they interact with our different social media platforms
– Work closely with the Content Lead to achieve the goals of the project
Podcast Post-Production Management
– Oversee the entire process and operations during the podcast episode release week including but not limited to listening to the podcast episode to make sure it is of excellent quality before releasing, updating show notes with relevant links, preparing the graphics and copy needed for marketing and sharing the podcast episode in emails, social media, and with the affiliates, updating necessary spreadsheets to keep track of the released podcast episodes, and filing Spotify and Apple links in the necessary spreadsheet.
– Track the podcast episode downloads and other relevant metrics for the project
– Analyze the metrics for podcasts and provide helpful insights to determine what works and what needs improvement
– Work closely with the Content Lead to achieve the goals of the project
Accountable Outcomes for this role:
– Implement the strategy provided to reach the goals of each marketing projects
– Ensure that marketing tasks are completed in excellent quality and on time
– Having SOPs that adequately explain the steps needed to complete your tasks
Qualifications and Skills:
– 4 year degree in related field
– 2-4 years experience in marketing
– Ability to write engaging content for target audiences
– Knowledge in mass email marketing campaigns
– Experience with graphic design
– Experience in FB Ads
– Knowledge of SEO
– Ability to create product pricing strategies
– Excellent communication skills
– Ability to schedule and plan out advertising campaigns
