JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our company, Global Experiences Ltd., is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Virtual Assistant to support our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in various aspects of marketing operations.
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our marketing processes, contributing to our sustainability-focused tourism agencies operating under the Carpe Diem Tours brand. You will be responsible for managing content uploads through various online platforms, conducting market research, and optimizing marketing processes. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage content uploads and updates through online sales points, including OTAs (Online Travel Agents).
Input tasks and updates into organizational software (e.g., ).
Assist in the creation and management of marketing SOPs.
Conduct industry-specific market research and integrate new skills into daily workflows.
Collaborate with the CMO, CTO, and the marketing team to support various marketing projects and initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience in a marketing role with knowledge of online content management and digital platforms.
Strong proficiency in organizational tools such as .
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and manage multiple digital platforms simultaneously.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, particularly with financial risk.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
Prior experience in tourism or a similar industry is preferred but not required.
PAST EXPERIENCE:
Experience in a marketing role.
Prior administrative experience.
History of offering online support.
Preferable background in marketing, social media, content management.
SHIFT HOURS AND COMPENSATION:
The shift patterns will rotate bi-weekly and it includes two-night shifts from 12:00 to 20:00 CET (18:00 to 02:00 Philippines Time). You will be scheduled for 5 shifts in a week (40 hours per week) and have two days off each week. It will include a weekend schedule while every two weeks, you will have one weekend day off.
Initially, this position entails 40 hours per week of training at $3.50 per hour, with working hours set from 09:00 AM to 17:00 PM Rome, Italy time (15:00 PM to 23:00 PM PHT).
During the probationary period, lasting 2-4 weeks and contingent upon progress and the manager’s discretion, the role may transition into full-time with compensation set at $4 per hour for 5 days a week. Following six months of work, the salary increase will occur.
