We are a small group of problem solving, timeline hacking, status-quo bucking, out-of-the-box thinking, genius digital gangsters breaking out world-leading YouTube content with a vengeance and the passion of a thousand suns (covered in Tabasco sauce)…
More specifically, at GYGC we teach people how to grow their YouTube channels. To do this, we create both (1) free educational YouTube content, and (2) paid online courses, and we are the BEST at what we do.

— WHAT WE‘RE LOOKING FOR —
We’re looking for remote, highly-experienced Video Editors and Animators who aspire to be one of the best YouTube editors in the world. Period.
If hired, you will spend the majority of your time editing and animating fast paced, highly engaging YouTube videos (our style could be compared to Mr Beast, Game Theory, MortarMarv, or Finzar).
Our team culture is always supportive and encouraging, but you should also expect to be held to an exceptionally-high standard because that’s how we become the best in the world at what we do (If you hate getting lots of revisions/feedback on your work, you won’t fit in here).
Your day-to-day will also involve sourcing/screen-recording necessary b-roll for the videos you edit, and analysing previous videos Viewer Retention Analytics Graphs to uncover opportunities to improve future edits.
— THE IDEAL CANDIDATE —
Here are the main skills and abilities we’re looking for in our applicants:
VIDEO EDITING (Required): Obviously, you must be an exceptionally talented video editor from a technical perspective. However, you must also have the passion, creativity and sense of humor to be able to turn bland, average footage into highly-engaging videos that educate AND entertain viewers.
ANIMATION (Required): You must be capable of creating high-quality 2d overlay, titling, and keyframing animations that visually illustrate the concepts we discuss in our videos.
COMMITMENT (Required): We are looking for a long-term team member (e.g. we have video editors who has been with us for fulltime for 3+ years). You must be able to commit a minimum of 40 hours per week to this job.
YOUTUBE EXPERTISE (Preferable): We use YouTube analytics to determine the quality of the videos we create and explore opportunities to improve future videos. Also, the majority of the videos you create will be about YouTube tactics and strategies. So, a good understanding of YouTube works from a creator’s perspective will be beneficial.
— YOUR KPIs —
Your performance will be graded using the following KPIs:
1 Audience Retention Graphs, which we’ll be able to see in our YouTube analytics.
2 The number of revisions the videos you edit require before being finalised (the less, the better)
3 The number of hours it takes you to create a video (the less, the better)
