Company Overview:
Travister, a renowned Australian travel agency specializing in tailor-made Maldives travel packages, is expanding its operations in the Maldives. As part of our growth strategy, we seek a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Media Buyer.

Location: Online

Purpose of the position
The Media Buyer is responsible for running and optimising marketing and promotional campaigns online and offline to achieve sales targets of the company and falls following four main broader areas of responsibilities:
1. Running effective marketing and promotional campaign
2. Preparing effective content such as pictures, videos, ad copies, information posts etc.
3. Conversion optimisation of the website and sales funnels
4. Seach Engine Optimisation.

General duties:
Marketing and Promotions
? Research and prepare a media buying plan for the business, outlining all relevant online and offline channels.
? Research and analyse buying habits and customer journeys to enable the formulation of targeting and retargeting of paid ads.
? Identify opportunities to partner with aligned brands to support marketing and promotion goals and design and implement brand partnership campaign
? Monitor costs and return on investment (ROI)
? Monitor and optimise the effectiveness of campaigns.
? Find a combination of media that will enable the marketer to communicate the message.
? Collect information about the kinds of audiences that can be reached by the different media and the approximate size of those audiences.
? Optimise plans and budgets according to the best media mix.
? Experiment with new platforms and channels.

Content Creation
? Research and identify relevant content and prepare a content plan as part of the media buying plan.
? Create a broader range of engaging content, i.e. pictures, videos, graphics, ad copies and information posts
? Generate, edit, publish and share engaging and eye-catching content daily for social media, community and email/content marketing channels.
? Update and manage social media pages of the business
? Response comments and messages

Conversation Optimisation
? Test and analyse the website and identify conversion issues and rectify any issues in liaising with the website developer.
? Test and analyse sales funnels and identify conversion bottlenecks and rectify conversion barriers.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Proven experience as a Media Buyer focusing on Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, and TikTok.
• In-depth knowledge of social media advertising trends and best practices.
• Knowledge and experience of Search Engine Optimisation.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
• Previous experience in the travel and tourism industry is advantageous.
