Media Buyer
Reports To
The Media Buyer will report to the Operations Director.
Job Overview
We are looking for Media Buyers who would work on ads with constantly changing trends to make effective use of digital advertising to drive client results whether to support content marketing or to fuel highly strategic performance marketing campaigns. This role entails strong problem-solving and analytical abilities and a track record of a “test & learn” mindset. This role calls for attention to detail in order to manage multiple campaigns effectively and be alert to cases when intervention is needed to optimize results or troubleshoot ad delivery issues.
Responsibilities and Duties
Working cross-departmentally to align campaign strategies and goals across the
organization
Providing ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant
stakeholders
Proofreading advertising material before launching campaigns
Defining, measuring, and evaluating relevant media KPIs
Tracking and presenting campaign data such as views, click-through rates,
engagements, and customer conversion rates
Building out media buys for various ad platforms and overseeing the day-to-day
execution of media
Overseeing and managing the overall budget for paid media
Conducting in-depth keyword and website research, ad grouping, and audience targeting
Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies
Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand
Creating and sharing Ad Lead reports with stakeholders
Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos,
videos and news)
Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure
brand consistency
Working with marketing professionals to develop social media marketing campaigns
Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media
accounts
Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying
strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within your company
(in-house roles)
Qualifications
A firm understanding of digital ad strategy and principles
At least 1 year of experience as a media buyer
Strong YouTube and Google skills are a must
Hands-on experience with advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Ads Manager, etc
Strong data analysis and reporting skills, preferably with experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics
Excellent communication skills
Experience with working with programmatic advertising partners is a plus
Must have experience or be willing to work the graveyard shift
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
Shift
Official work shift 8 am-5 pm PST (flexibility available depending on workload or department)
Onboarding 8 am-12 pm pst
Training 8:am – 12pm pst
