Job Description

White Label Comedy is a Creative and Marketing Agency powered by TV comedy writers – and we’re looking for a new Media Buyer/Advertising Manager.

Happy to discuss either a part-time or full-time role.

The core of our business is writing jokes that sell. We create jokes for brands and businesses designed to build an engaged audience and ultimately increase sales.

Brands and businesses can hire us to write jokes and provide marketing services for them. Or we have a range of courses, workshops and templates so their teams can learn how to do it themselves.

Your primary goal will be to deliver high-quality, high-converting traffic to our existing sales pages and offers.

Duties will include:

– Building media buying strategies – across and within ad platforms (Meta, Google etc).
– Performing large-scale creative testing, analysing data sets, scaling winners and feedback ideas for new tests.
– Building and maintaining relationships with ad platforms/networks
– Planning campaigns across multiple funnel steps and platforms
– Managing large ad budgets across multiple platforms
– Developing new ideas for campaigns – angles, types/formats.
– Performing competitor analysis and bringing insights to campaigns
– Leading campaigns from inception to delivery
– Giving detailed analysis and insights on why ads/campaigns are (or are not) performing
– Keeping up to date with trends/function updates across major ad networks
– Identifying and planning media buying opportunities outside of major networks (Fb, Google etc). E.g. sponsor specific podcasts, newsletters, and sites. Trade shows. Inserts into print magazines etc
– Working with copywriters and other creatives to develop ads – normally via developing a creative brief as a result of analysis from internal campaigns and competitor research
– Achieving a positive ROI/ROAS across campaigns
– Optimising budgets across campaigns and platforms
– Ensuring ad creatives/copy correctly fit and are optimised for each platform

Required experience:
– Have built multi-platform campaigns
– Managed large ad budgets
– Optimised budgets across campaigns and platforms
– Data analysis and insight reporting

You’ll need a good standard of English (written and spoken), a good sense of humour (a lot of the work will be creating campaigns around the idea of using jokes to deliver business results).

You’ll need to be self-motivated, organised and accountable – you won’t be micromanaged on a daily basis, yet our expectations for speed and quality will remain high and we’ll be relying on you to push yourself to meet (or exceed) those expectations every week.

Our core team is based in the UK and we work UK office hours. In order to maximise crossover, for a full-time role, we’d ideally like someone who can work 7am to 4pm UK time (3pm to midnight your local time – with an hour’s break taken at your convenience). For a part-time role, we will agree a schedule that works for all of us.

Immediate start.

To apply, please provide detailed examples of advertising campaigns you’ve led and your salary expectations.
