Media Editor

We are seeking a meticulous and creative Editor to join our team at Six Figure Student. As an Editor, you will collaborate closely with our Content Manager to polish and refine photos and short-form video content, ensuring it aligns with our brand’s theme and style. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of visual storytelling, and proficiency in editing software. This role will help Six Figure Student achieve our goal of building authority in the student entrepreneurship and leadership space as well as build brands for our executive team and company.

This role is part-time and may expand into full-time based on business needs and growth.

Job Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the Content Manager to understand the vision and objectives for each piece of content.
– Edit and enhance photos and videos to meet quality standards, maintaining consistency with the desired brand theme and style.
– Implement creative solutions to elevate the visual appeal and engagement of the content.
– Ensure timely delivery of edited content while maintaining high-quality standards.
– Communicate effectively with the Content Manager to understand feedback and make necessary adjustments to meet expectations.
– Stay updated with industry trends and techniques to improve editing skills and contribute innovative ideas to the team.

Requirements:
– Proven experience in editing both photos and short-form video content
– Proven experience in editing both photos and short-form video content
– Prior experience working in a similar role within the digital media, marketing, or content creation industry.
– Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.
– A strong portfolio demonstrating creative and high-quality photo and video editing skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also managing individual tasks efficiently.
– Strong communication skills to understand and execute feedback effectively.
– A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering polished and visually appealing content.
– Familiarity with social media platforms and their content requirements.
