Who I am:

I am TJ Larkin, and I’m building a crypto media brand around ENS domain names. These are the crypto version of .com. They are NFTs and they are the largest NFT project in the world. The token valuation of ENS is $1.4 billion dollars, and individual names frequently sell for $10,000-$200,000 each ( just sold for $200,000 today!). This is one of the most high growth areas in all of crypto, and I am one of the leaders in the space.

I am building an all in one brand for everything ENS. That means a news website, podcast, newsletter, consulting, brokerage, community, and marketplace. This has the potential to be a massive brand in the crypto space. And I’m looking for it’s first employee!

What we’re looking for:

We need a Media Manager! This is a remote position.

We are looking for a team member who is motivated to do what it takes to make this brand a success. We need a go-getter, who will mostly know how to do everything we need. But if they don’t, they proactively learn and figure it out.

We are NOT looking for someone we need to micromanage. We want to give you the goal of the brand, all the tools you need, and you get to work towards the goal. And if you’re not sure, you proactively ask. Please do not apply if you just want to be given tasks, and do nothing if you haven’t been given anything recently.

These are the high-level skills we are most looking for, in order of importance:

Video editing for social media
Using WordPress
Using Zapier to create integrations
General help with all technology
Generate ideas to implement

Salary & growth opportunities:

Role will pay between $1,500-$2,000 per month, depending on experience

You’ll focus primarily on creating social media content based on podcast episodes
You’ll also be responsible for uploading content to the website daily
You’ll help streamline all aspects of the company, via things like Notion, Zapier, etc.
The key point is that your job is to make my life easier, by doing the things I can’t do or don’t have time to do

The ideal candidate:

Video editing: This is the number one task. I record podcasts and short video clips. Your job is turn those into high quality social media; short clips, full podcast, medium length podcast clips. All branded extremely well, to look like a giant company’s quality.
Wordpress: We have a news website, and it needs to be updated in multiple ways every day. The more skills you have with building in wordpress the better. If you can build better and more attractive pages, this is a huge value add and will put you higher on the pay scale.
General internet tech understanding: I need you to understand or learn how to do most simple to medium difficulty tasks related to software. The more of an internet native you are, the better. I need to be able to send you things to do, and you be able to do them quickly.
Problem solving: The cardinal sin at our company is asking someone a question you could have solved yourself. We need people who are willing to “figure it out” and don’t mind rolling up their sleeves. That doesn’t mean we aren’t here to support you, we are. But only when you encounter a problem that you truly can’t solve. You’re expected to bring more to the table than expected and hurdle problems, not allow them to get in your way.
