We are looking for a superstar full-time Medical Assistant candidate to better serve our patients.

The Job at a Glance:
We are seeking to hire a superstar Medical Assistant to Assist our US-based clinicians to give the best care possible to our patients. The medical assistant is an integral part of our growing team and will aid in organizing and streamlining several key processes related to patient care. The ideal application will have a passion for working in a young and dynamic healthcare startup environment. Core skills required include professionalism, strong English language communication skills, and a high degree of organization and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
– Data entry for a large patient panel, including scores/results from clinical surveys, diagnostic tests, and remote physiologic monitoring (RPM) and remote therapeutic monitoring (RTM) data streams
– Managing multiple referral loop processes for a large patient panel
– Managing and inputting inbound and outbound medical records
– Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
– Maintain accurate patient records by updating care notes, and face sheets, ensuring the integrity of patient information
– Attending clinical meetings, taking excellent notes, and following up on action items and project timelines
– Managing a telephone voicemail inbox and routing messages to relevant members of our team
– Working closely with our disciplinary team of physicians, engineers, designers, and other care team members to continuously improve the care we deliver to our patients

Required Qualifications and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare, nursing, or a related clinical discipline
– Two or more years of professional experience in the healthcare setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of patient care and care coordination
– Solid grasp of the US healthcare system and its intricacies
– Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
– Training or experience in clinical medicine, such as a nursing degree, nursing assistant, or clinical scribe
– Highly attentive to detail, organized, efficient, and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment
– Reliable internet connection (at least 30 Mbps and wired DSL)
– Quiet home environment for work
– Ability to work in US time zones (EST)
– Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute

Preferred Qualifications:
– Proficiency with Google Suite, and others
– Experience using electronic health records (EHR)
– Experience with database management
– Proficiency with standard spreadsheet, word processing, and email applications
