Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Bill Collector to join our team on a contractual basis. As a Medical Bill Collector, you will be responsible for efficiently collecting outstanding medical debts from patients. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in an American company, possess excellent communication skills in English, and have a strong understanding of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
Responsibilities:
Contact patients regarding their outstanding medical debts and arrange for payment plans or settlements.
Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and update patient information as necessary.
Respond to patient inquiries and resolve billing disputes in a professional and timely manner.
Adhere to the guidelines and regulations outlined in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and other relevant parties to ensure accurate billing and collection processes.
Provide regular updates to the management team regarding collection activities and progress.
Minimum Skills and Experience:
At least 3 years of experience as a Medical Bill Collector in an American company.
Proficient in the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other federal and state collection laws.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in using computer systems and relevant software applications for billing and collection purposes.
Opportunity to earn an additional commission of up to $300 USD per month based on performance and successful collections. This means you have an opportunity to earn up to $900 per month in payment and commission.
