Medical Biller

Objective of Job Position Description:
We are seeking a Medical Biller who will be responsible for managing Accounts Receivable pertaining to insurance claims and patient balances. The primary role of the Medical Biller is to supervise the processing of statements. Additionally, the Medical Biller will conduct audits on rendered services to ensure prompt processing of any overlooked service claims.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure Accuracy on all billing accounts
Collect on relevant accounts
Text patient’s about their balances
Manage reporting on statements sent out.
Correct and resubmit Claims
Inbound and outbound billing phones receptionist
Billing Reconciliation
Ensure all services were billed
Understands Medical Coding and Billing
Reviews Claims and makes appropriate adjustments as needed.
Helps ensure claims get out in a timely manner
Other miscellaneous overflow tasks.

Education Requirements:
Certified Medical Coder

Physical Demands: Must be available for at least 95% of staff meetings, participates in department workshops & training, Have one-on-one with Manager each week..
