Overview:

Our clinic specializes in Physical Therapy and we are on the lookout for a new Medical Billing Assistant. If you’re someone who is self motivated, hard working, detail oriented and a team player, then we’re interested in getting to know you!

– How does Medicare work and what do you do at the beginning of the year when you work with Medicare (If you have experience with using Medicare)
– What medical billing system have you used and how does it work

This time is used for us to get to know you. Show your personality and who you are. Please make sure you are NOT reading from a script, check your camera and speaker are working properly and you look presentable and your background is also presentable (This is a pre-interview to get accepted to the group interview with other qualified candidates, this is your time to shine and stand out.)

Charge Processing
Claims Submission
Rejection Management
Payment Posting
Denial Management
Accounts Receivable Management
Patient Statements and Collections
Insurance and Patient Refunds
Record Keeping
Insurance Verification and Authorization Skills
Capability to Handle Unpaid Claims
Understanding the Deductibles and Coverages
Ability to Explain Benefits and Policies

Preferred Qualifications:

MUST speak fluent English
Experienced in using Medicare is a PLUS
MUST be experienced with how to work with out-of-network insurance and provide in-network and out-of-network benefits
Proven medical billing experience
Detail oriented and organized
Willing to work on Eastern Standard Time timezone (EST)
