Medical Claims Solutions is a team of more than 20 medical billing and credentialing professionals offering services to practices throughout the United States. Our team helps providers focus on patient care and satisfaction by eliminating or drastically reducing complications from medical billing, credentialing and practice management.
The Medical Billing Customer Support Representative is a full-time position, responsible for interacting with internal and external customers of the company to provide information and administrative support. Duties include customer service, billing patients, compiling information, reports, and correspondence.
Critical Tasks & Responsibilities
• Provide notifications to customers or patrons.
• Prepare itemized statements or bills.
• Answer telephone inquiries.
• Organize and work with detailed records, using computers to enter, access, search or retrieve data.
• Answer telephones to direct calls or provide information.
• Communicates with employees, customers, or others to collect information.
• Maintain knowledge base and documents via Patiently Speaking and Kareo, etc.
• Send information, materials or documentation.
• Assist leadership with projects, etc.
• Prepare business correspondence.
• Adhering to company policies, processes and procedures.
• Answer patient questions on patient responsible portions, copays, deductibles, write complaints or explains why certain
services are not covered.
• Follows HIPAA guidelines in handling patient information.
• May periodically create insurance or patient aging reports using the medical practice billing software. These reports are
used to identify unpaid insurance claims or patient accounts.

Skills and Experience
• To perform successfully in this role, it is necessary to possess attention to detail
• Effectively manage time and complete tasks accurately is required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office tools required
• Working knowledge of medical accounts receivable software programs preferred Kareo, Patiently Speaking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to use initiative and independent judgment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One to Two years of experience in medical billing a plus
• The ability to effectively manage time and complete tasks accurately is required.
• Position is an entry-level position. (Training will be provided.)
