Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Answering and returning calls
Performing data entry tasks
Updating patient charts
Managing email and fax communications

DATA ENTRY:
– Process intake forms
– Chart preparation for new patients and completion of documents needed

MEDICAL BILLING:
– Accounts receivable
– Payment posting
– Process claims accurately and efficiently
– Follow up on denied claims and work to resolve billing issues
– Maintain detailed records and documentation of billing processes
– Communicate effectively with patients, and insurance companies

OTHER DUTIES:
– Follow up on credentialing status
– Preferred but now required: digital marketing, social media management

Qualifications:
Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; willing to train the right candidate.
Detail oriented, strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in using office software and tools (e.g., Google Suite)
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality,
A proactive and self-motivated attitude
Ability to master new ideas or systems quickly
Willingness to undergo a background check
Friendly positive personality
HIPAA compliant, reliable computer and internet access

Due to time zone differences:
Patient communication should be timed for the Arizona, US time zone around 8am to 7pm AZ Time zone.
Philippine time zone 11pm to 10am
Insurance communication should be timed for the Arizona, US time zone around 6 am to 5pm AZ Time zone.
Philippine time zone 9pm to 8am

About the company:
The company is a new mental health clinic providing mental health services to patients in the US. I am looking for a permanent candidate, full-time position, who can provide comprehensive support across all tasks as we establish our new practice. Initially, you will assist with a wide range of responsibilities. However, as our company grows, I plan to add more staff, allowing for task specialization based on individual strengths and preferences.
