Job Description:
We are seeking a competent and reliable Administrative Assistant to join our team. Someone who knows how to do minimal marketing, Billing Specialist, Recruiting, and Administrative work. You will be responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks, including:
Assisting with marketing campaigns
Analyzing marketing campaign effectiveness
Posting job ads and managing responses
Screening candidates and scheduling interviews
Coordinating the onboarding process for new hires
Maintaining recruitment records
Developing and updating job descriptions
Obtaining pre-authorizations for procedures
Updating patient files with insurance information
Explaining insurance benefits to patients
Liaising with insurance providers to clarify coverage details
Tracking the status of pending insurance claims
Following up on unpaid claims
Posting payments to patient accounts
Resolving billing discrepancies
Reviewing and appealing denied claims
Ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations
Generating billing reports for management
Requirements:
A plus if you have Physical Therapy Billing Background
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Proficiency in EMR software (Optimis) and billing software (Dux Ware)
Familiarity with platforms such as Avility for VOB and insurance information
