Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced medical secretary who will be responsible for all aspects of the clerical and administrative tasks. The ability to interface with patients, physicians, and outside vendors, and is responsible for promptly, appropriately, and efficiently answering all incoming calls. A professional demeanor with the ability to interact with patients in a positive environment is necessary.

The essential job functions are not limited to:

• Excellent customer service skills, professional, dependable, and personable.
• Mental Health Experience a plus
• Must be efficient, accurate, and have a friendly, confident demeanor.
• Be able and willing to multi-task & perform under the pressure of a busy mental health office, change focus, and re-
prioritize as needed.
• Highly organized in all areas of responsibilities and the ability to multi-task is essential.
• Possess strong computer skills (standard business, office, and medical applications including but not limited to DrChrono,
Google, Dropbox, Excel, and Word) as well as excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and Patient Privacy rights at all times.
• The ability to handle multiple phone calls simultaneously using our RingCentral phones.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Answering phones and directing calls appropriately, monitor the RingCentral queue to ensure calls are answered timely and
adequately.
• Performs computer data entry in registration, scheduling, and other programs as assigned.
• Take appropriate messages and relay them promptly.
• Maintain high customer service on the phone and in emails.
• Charging patient responsibility fees
• Ability to communicate written and orally with patients via emails.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Available to work on some Saturdays as requested.
• Billing and Refill Experience is a plus.
