Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced medical secretary with refill experience. One who will be responsible for all aspects of the clerical and administrative tasks. Ability to interface with patients, physicians, and outside vendors and being responsible for answering all incoming calls in a timely, appropriate, and efficient manner. A professional demeanor with the ability to interact with patients in a positive environment is necessary.

The essential job functions are not limited to:

• Strong familiarity with Google Suite, EMR/EHR, and CoverMyMeds is a must, showcasing your technological prowess.
Hold excellent customer service skills and be professional, dependable, and personable.
• Must be efficient, accurate, and have a friendly, confident demeanor.
• Ability and willingness to multitask and perform under the pressure of a busy mental health office, as well as change focus and re-prioritize as needed.
• Highly organized in all areas of responsibilities and the ability to multi-task is essential.
• Possess strong computer skills (standard business, office, and medical applications including but not limited to DrChrono, Google, Dropbox, Excel, and Word) as well as excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPPA and Patient Privacy rights at all times.
• The ability to handle multiple phone calls simultaneously using our RingCentral phones.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Answer phones and direct calls appropriately. Monitor the RingCentral queue to ensure calls are answered timely and appropriate.
• Performs computer data entry in registration, scheduling, and other programs as assigned.
• Taking appropriate messages and relaying them in a timely manner.
• Maintain high customer service on the phone and in emails.
• Ability to communicate written and orally with patients via emails.
