We are currently looking for an experienced medical secretary. One who will be responsible for all aspects of the clerical and administrative tasks. The ability to interface with patients, physicians, and outside vendors, and is responsible for answering all incoming calls in a timely, appropriate, and efficient manner. Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with patients in a positive environment is a must.
The essential job functions are not limited to:
• Strong familiarity with Google Suite, EMR/EHR, and CoverMyMeds is a must, showcasing your technological prowess.
Hold excellent customer service skills and be professional, dependable, and personable.
• Must be efficient, accurate, and have a friendly confident demeanor.
• Be able and willing to multi-task & perform under the pressure of a busy mental health office as well as change focus and re-prioritize as needed.
• Highly organized in all areas of responsibilities and the ability to multi-task is essential.
• Possess strong computer skills (standard business, office, and medical applications including but not limited to DrChrono, Google, Dropbox, Excel, and Word) as well as excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPPA and Patient Privacy rights, at all times.
• The ability to handle multiple phone calls at the same time, using our Ringcentral phones.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Answering phones and directing calls appropriately, monitor the Ringcentral queue to ensure calls are answered timely and appropriately.
• Performs computer data entry in registration, scheduling, and other programs as assigned.
• Taking appropriate messages and relaying them in a timely manner.
• Maintain a high level of customer service on the phone and in emails.
• Charging patient responsibility fees
• Ability to communicate written and orally with patients via emails.
