Type of Work: Full time, Night Shift

Work Schedule: 5 days a week (US time – Eastern Standard Time)

Job Description:

Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring that their needs are met in a prompt and courteous manner;
Schedule appointments;
Work closely with insurance companies to verify patient benefits and coverage, and proactively resolve any related issues;
Assist patients in navigating the complex healthcare system by offering guidance on insurance, referrals, and other healthcare-related matters;
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) for patients, adhering to industry standards and best practices;
Effectively communicate and educate patients on the full range of services offered by the company, to maximize their health outcomes;
Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive timely and appropriate care and treatment;
Engage in continuous training and professional development, in order to stay up-to-date with evolving industry regulations and best practices;
Ensure that all patient interactions are conducted in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable privacy laws and regulations;
Undertake other duties as assigned by the management team.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Patient Care Coordinator in a healthcare setting for a US based company;
Experienced in performing inbound and outbound calls;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English;
Proficient knowledge of medical terminologies;
Solid understanding of US insurance and medical policy guidelines;
Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
