Clever Nurses is an organization devoted to the advancement in educating nursing students with simple and fun infographics and videos to help better prepare them to pass their licensure, the NCLEX.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Writer/Researcher to help nursing students pass their licensure, the NCLEX, and ultimately help them become registered nurses. As a Medical Writer/Researcher, you will be responsible for creating credible high-quality medical content for a variety of purposes, including, but not limited to, infographics, posters, course content, scripts, and promotional material on websites and social media platforms.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and be able to translate complex scientific information into clear, concise language that is accessible to a broad audience. In the future, the Medical Writer/Researcher will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including a digital marketing director/social media director, and a digital illustrator to ensure that all content is accurate and aligned with company objectives.
Responsibilities:
– Research various forms of literature [i.e., peer-reviewed articles, medical textbooks, and medical websites (CDC, AHA, NIH, etc.,] to support content development
– Write, review, proofread, edit, and update study course material to check the quality and scientific accuracy of eLearning content
– Provide credible references for all forms of literature in APA format
– Assist with developing content that includes all aspects of the NCLEX examination
– Strong attention to detail and ability to manage timelines and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously
– Ensure all content is in compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations and is free from copyright infringement
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, such as pharmacy, biology, chemistry, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
– Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Writer in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Proficiency in the use of computer-based tools such as Google Docs, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software applications

Salary:
Seeking candidates for a position with competitive hourly pay, based on experience and skillset, starting from $300/month USD with potential to reach $500/month USD or higher. Incentive programs available based on performance criteria to reward hard work and dedication.
