Job Description: MEP Drafter
Position Title: MEP Drafter

Reports To: Engineering Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time 9am to 5pm EST

Job Overview:
The MEP Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed and precise drawings for mechanical, electrical,
and plumbing systems. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP 3D, with
experience in Auto Sprink being a preferred asset. The ideal candidate will have specific experience in
major cities in New York, Florida, and California, and will be adept at coordinating various MEP
components.
Key Responsibilities:
Plumbing Task Drawings:
• Develop detailed plumbing drawings for various projects.
Sprinkler Shop Drawings:
• Create comprehensive sprinkler system drawings to ensure compliance with codes and
standards.
Mechanical Shop Drawings:
• Draft mechanical system layouts and details, ensuring accuracy and adherence to the project
specifications.
Coordination:
• Coordinate all MEP components to ensure seamless integration and conflict resolution within
the overall project design.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).
• Expertise in Revit MEP 3D.
• Experience with Auto Sprink is preferred.
Experience:
• Specific experience working on projects in New York is preferred.
• Familiarity with projects in major cities in Florida, California, and New York State.
• Experience with multi-family home projects.
Additional Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education and Experience:
• Associate’s degree or certification in drafting, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an MEP Drafter.
