Responsibilities:
Manage and administer the Office 365 suite of products, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other related applications.
Supports daily operations including Active Directory management, troubleshooting, capacity management, patching, upgrades, and performance monitoring.
Provision and manage user accounts, security groups, and access permissions within the Office 365 environment.
Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes or enhancements to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions leveraging Office 365 capabilities.
Configure and maintain Exchange Online, including mailbox management, distribution groups, and security configurations.
Administer SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and other collaborative features to support effective document management and team collaboration.
Manage OneDrive for Business, including file synchronization, sharing settings, and access controls.
Support and administer Microsoft Teams, including user provisioning, channel management, and collaboration settings.
Implement and enforce security policies, data protection measures, and compliance requirements within the Office 365 environment.
Provide end-user support, training, and documentation for Office 365 applications and features.
Stay up to date with Microsoft product updates, new features, and industry best practices, and proactively recommend improvements and optimizations.
Collaborate with other system administrators and IT teams to integrate Office 365 with other enterprise applications and systems.
Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
Monitor and manage licensing, subscriptions, and billing for Office 365 services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years Active Directory or Azure AD and Windows Server administration experience.
Proven experience as a Microsoft Administrator, specifically with Office 365 administration.
Strong knowledge of Office 365 suite of products, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams.
Experience with managing user accounts, security groups, and access permissions within Office 365.
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and customization of Office 365 administration tasks.
Solid understanding of email systems, preferably Exchange Online, including mailbox administration, distribution groups, and security configurations.
Experience with SharePoint Online administration, including site management, document libraries, and permissions.
Knowledge of OneDrive for Business administration, including file synchronization, sharing settings, and access controls.
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams administration, including user provisioning, channel management, and collaboration settings.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide user support.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Microsoft certifications in Office 365 administration (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate) are a plus.
