Job Description

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Microsoft 365 Technician to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will manage, support, and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment to ensure operational efficiency, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
-Administration and Configuration: Manage and configure Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams. Set up user accounts, manage permissions, and ensure services are configured in line with organizational policies.

-Support and Troubleshooting: Provide end-user support, resolving issues related to Microsoft 365 applications. Troubleshoot email, collaboration tools, and access problems, ensuring high user satisfaction.

-Security and Compliance: Implement and monitor security measures for data protection within Microsoft 365. Manage data governance policies, compliance settings, and threat protection features.

-Migration and Integration: Assist with migrating data and services to Microsoft 365 from other platforms, ensuring smooth transitions and data integrity.

-Training and Documentation: Develop and provide training and documentation for users on Microsoft 365 applications. Create user guides, conduct training sessions, and offer best practices.

-Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the health and usage of Microsoft 365 services, generating reports on performance and usage patterns. Identify potential issues and plan for resources and services.

-License Management: Manage Microsoft 365 licenses efficiently, ensuring compliance with Microsoft’s licensing terms.
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Plan and implement data backup, recovery, and business continuity strategies.

-Custom Solutions and Automation: Develop custom solutions and automate tasks using tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, and PowerShell scripts.

-Ensure Client Security Rating: Proactively monitor and manage all client Microsoft 365 environments to ensure their security rating is above average.

-EDR Product Monitoring and Management: Oversee the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) product to detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
-Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Technician or similar role.
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and administration.
-Experience with EDR tools and cybersecurity best practices.
-Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
-Effective communication and training skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Continuous learner passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and updates in Microsoft 365.
