Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer/Consultant

Description of Duties

Participating in design and architecture sessions with key business users, gathering and documenting business processes and requirements for the system
Architecting the Dynamics system, related customizations and reports to model the business organizational process
Advising business users on best practices for Dynamics, development or integration processes
Balance business users requests and requirements with technical constraints
Responsible for the development and on-going support of custom applications and objects within Microsoft Dynamics
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within all aspects of the Dynamics software to include technical requirements, system configuration, user requirements, and system upgrades
Provide quality delivery of consultancy, through presales, demonstrations, analysis, implementation, documentation and training
Acquires and interprets business requirements, creates functional specifications and determines the most effective/appropriate technologies
Identify and implement third party applications to enhance and support the Dynamics system
Accurately estimate level of effort for implementation tasks
Installation, setup and configuration of Dynamics 365 and associated Apps
Implement and develop SQL queries and scripts for the database according to the requirement and to manipulate the data in Dynamics
Skilled in Azure AD, API development and Portals
Expertise in Custom Workflow Activity, Plugin (C#), Power Automate, JavaScript, HTML, PowerApps Portals, Canvas Apps and Power Platform development
Understanding of Microsoft Dataverse
Perform Dynamics application testing of configurations and customizations
Extend capability of Dynamics through creation of new entities, forms, workflows, and reports
Design business processes and integrations between Microsoft Dynamics applications and other applications
Perform data migration activities
Write test cases to test the changes in a QA environment, validate the code and test the application’s full functionality before deployment.

Excellent communication skills to include internal/external interaction, documentation and presentations.
Experience working in SDLC, testing and validating solutions, and working as a MS Dynamics Developer/Consultant.
Proven ability to self-manage and complete project deliverables.
Confident in making decisions, accurate, detailed-oriented and able to problem solve/analyze.
Good interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication and excellent project management skills.
