Mid-Level Android Developer (with MVC, MVP, and MVVM exp)

Role Overview:

As a Mid-Level Android Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and enhancing Android applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to feature development and technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

– Design and develop advanced Android applications
– Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
– Work with external data sources and APIs confidently
– Conduct comprehensive unit testing, including handling edge cases, usability, and general reliability
– Contribute to bug fixing and optimization efforts
– Stay updated on the latest technologies and incorporate them to streamline development processes

Requirements:

To qualify for the Mid-Level Android Developer position, you should possess the following:

– Proven software development experience with a focus on Android app development
– Demonstrated experience in developing and publishing at least one original Android app
– Strong familiarity with the Android SDK
– Previous experience working with remote data through REST and JSON
– Comfort with third-party libraries and APIs
– In-depth knowledge of mobile development trends, architectures, and emerging technologies
– A solid grasp of the entire mobile development life cycle
– Experience with MVC, MVP, and MVVM architecture patterns
– Proficiency in Git version control for code management
– A deep understanding of Android UI/UX and Material design principles and best practices
– Experience with Android Jetpack Compose is considered a valuable plus

Employment Details:

This is a full-time permanent position with a standard 40-hour workweek. Our working hours are from 1 pm to 10 pm PH time, Monday to Friday.
