Job Description

Role (Overview of the Position)
As a Mid-Level Developer, you are responsible for maintaining and enhancing web projects, delivering satisfactory projects in a timely manner, offering project-level support for high-level technical issues/blockers, mentoring associate developers in best practices for projects, and keeping associate and fellow mid-level developers accountable.

Will be mainly responsible for maintaining and enhancing inhouse applications.

We have a lot of ongoing BigCommerce and Shopify projects as well, with a number of new ones in the pipeline. The candidate will be asked to help with these as well.

Responsibilities
Work on both frontend and backend tasks , /React, HTML, and JavaScript/Typescript.

Should be able to provide estimated turnaround time and deliver accordingly.

Should have the capacity to commit on project timeline.

Ability to work with project leads, and do code reviews.

Ability to understand business requirements, design and implement software architecture based on client requirements.

Attend and contribute to project stand-up meetings and brainstorming.

Ability to implement a major feature/functionality to an existing system/application.

Document solution for client approval and future maintenance and upgrades.

Integrate unfamiliar technology into projects as part of the requirements.

Results (Success Measures for this role)
Deliver features ,Resolved issues fulfilled requests in your projects that will keep our client, whom we have a long and good relationship with, very happy.

Satisfied clients who continue to want to sign-up for our software development services and would recommend our services to others.

Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)
Should have knowledge and are able to adapt to different development stacks and databases.

Should be able to write unit tests to make sure everything is working properly.

Should be focused with the web application’s performance and excellent user experience.

Plus if you have ecommerce experience or, at least, are willing to learn.

You understand object-oriented concepts and implementations in JavaScript.

Ability to convert wireframes and mock-ups designs into quality and scalable front-end code using HTML5, CSS, Grid and FlexBox.

Knowledgeable with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.

Build modern UI that is mobile-friendly, seo-friendly and cross-browser compatible.

Ability to maintain code in an ever-changing environment (git is your friend)

You are okay developing on your system knowing that it will be deployed on a server you will never access.

An unquenchable thirst for knowledge is a must.

Structured problem solving skills that enable you to break down a large complex challenge into achievable intermediate steps.

Internal motivation to do great work, and require little to no supervision to accomplish tasks.

Mad Google skills that allow you to sort out whatever problems may arise.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (in English).

Excellent listening skills with the ability to collect and analyze large amounts of data and info.

Can juggle multiple projects at a time while maintaining keen attention to detail.

Ability to improve business processes.

Adaptable with critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.

A diligent worker with the ability to be flexible.
